We’ve made several updates over the past few weeks in Deep Freeze Cloud that may interest you.
1. Software Updater – Older version support.
We have a new “Older Versions” section that displays an older version of an application that we may support. Example: Adobe Reader 12 is the latest version but we also support version 11.
2. Software Updater – Remove older version of Java / Log off users.
Java seems to keep older versions of their software. We now remove them if they check that option.
Some application updates fail if the user is still logged in so we provided a new feature to optionally log off the user during the maintenance period.
3. Navigate Status widgets to filtered Computers page.
While most of the widgets navigate to the appropriate report, clicking on the Status widgets will display the filtered computers under the Computers page. Example: Clicking on Thawed will display all the Thawed computers.
4. Power Save is part of Ultimate bundle. Display which services are enabled.
Notice that Power Save is now Ultimate. We now display enabled services with a green checkmark.
5. License Management bundles are clearly highlighted.
Example: if you are licensed for Ultimate then we will gray out the other bundles.
6. Responsive design for mobile devices.
Customers who now visit deepfreeze.com from an Android or iOS device will be encouraged to download our mobile app. The Sign In and Sign Up pages will also display properly on mobile screens.
