System Requirements Power Save Mac requires Mac OS X Leopard 10.5, Snow Leopard 10.6, Lion 10.7, Mountain Lion 10.8 or Yosemite 10.10. Power Save Mac is a Universal application (Intel and PPC compatible). ARD integration requires Apple Remote Desktop 2.2 or higher. A minimum of 256 MB RAM is recommended.

Flexible Scheduling

  • Configure the computers to start up, shut down, sleep and wake
  • Choose if the action will occur as a one-time-only event, every day, on weekdays, on weekends, or a specific day of the week
  • Choose a specific time of day for the action to occur
  • Designate the number of minutes of computer inactivity before log-out, restart, or shutdown
  • Enable Auto-cancel to override scheduled events if computer is active or choose to allow users to override scheduled action and avoid losing data

Known Issues        

11672    Some errors occur in the Event Viewer while uninstalling System Profiler Enterprise Loadin when Faronics Core Console is running. 2269   When Faronics System Profiler Enterprise Loadin expires, the version is displayed as Expired for all unmanaged workstations. 31       Arrow keys do not work while navigating the Reports node in the Console Tree pane. 261    A report generated on a workstation with multiple monitors displays only one monitor.

1401 – Resolved an issue where the status for other Faronics products was not updated on Faronics Core Console when Faronics System Profiler Enterprise was installed. 1921 – Resolved an issue where Faronics System Profiler Enterprise was unable to save to an altered MyDocuments location on a network drive. (Case No: FND-807-59253) 2087 – Resolved an issue where Detailed Inventory Report task was stuck in Active state when multiple tasks failed against multiple offline workstations at same time.
