3 Ways To Cut Costs & Keep Users Happy

PC power management

When it comes to PC Power Management, there are 3 things that can really bother some folk as they grind away at their computers. If you have a power management policy you’ll need to be aware of the big challenges. Make sure that power savings don’t make angry users.

  1. Make sure that certain applications, that can run for a long time don’t get interrupted by your policy. Nothing wrecks a great PowerPoint presentation like a screen saver.
  2. Make aggressive power plans after hours only and save your users some carpal tunnel by constantly moving the mouse to keep their computer up and running.
  3. Allow users to delay PC Power Management for a period of time. Even if power management has to be applied, give them a bit of control and let them get on with their work.
