Smartphone Camera

When was the last time you whipped out your digital camera to take a quick snapshot? Chances are, it’s been a while.

Consumers are using their smartphones to take more than a quarter of their photos and videos. As well, the amount of pictures taken with a smartphone increased by 10% in the last year, from 17% to 27%.

With smartphones, photos are easy to share. You can upload them to Facebook with a few clicks of a button. With apps like Instagram, Camera phone quality has increased significantly, and the convenience is unbeatable. Not everyone carries a camera with them everywhere, but most people do carry cellphones.  (And you never know when you might feel like taking a picture of your dinner.)
