Haywood Engineering College (HEC) in Stoke on Trent is a high school specialising in Engineering. As such, HEC is a heavy user of information technology in the classroom. The school’s IT consists of 430 workstations, 100 laptops, 190 netbooks , 200 thin client computers, 16 blade servers, 2 storage servers, 2 domain controllers, and a variety of application-based virtual servers.
