As a marketing professional in the technology sector there are always a few activities that seem impossible to predict. Regardless of how much research you have done or how many experiences you have you just never know what the outcome will be. The three questions below have been pondered in numerous articles and debated by many experts but what does any of this data mean if it doesn’t come from your audience? This is why I want your input!
What is your opinion of industry tradeshows and events?
As an organization, we have been long-time supporters of trade events for many different reasons. The face-to-face interaction with our clients, competitive analysis, building brand awareness, and the list goes on. I also attend trade conferences from time-to-time which always seem to vary in terms of size and quality.
What do you think? Are live events a dying breed, being taken over by virtual events and social networks? Or will touching a product and shaking a human hand stand the text of time?
Other than Google, Where do you gather information?
Personally, if I need information, a business’s phone number, or just general research – Google is usually my first stop. But, I still love to pick up a good magazine or browse the daily paper for current events.
How about you? Are you a digital discoverer or a fan of the old school tools?
Last but not least… What would you like to see discussed on our blog?
Our blog is still young but maturing daily… Our goal is to continue providing a resource that is informative, entertaining, and relevant to a broad spectrum of readers.
