The film, construction, medical, and other technical industries all rely on 3D modeling to entertain and innovate. Many of these designers and engineers use Autodesk® Fusion 360™ as their preferred 3D CAD, CAM and CAE tool for both Mac and PC. In order to get the most out of this software and maintain optimal functionality and compatibility, it requires the latest updates. In collaboration with Autodesk, Deep Freeze Software Updater now supports Fusion 360. Autodesk Fusion 360 customers were experiencing challenges with keeping their software up-to-date in a lab environment while maintaining security, Software Updater offers a hands-off approach to updating their 3D CAD/CAM tools.
Deep Freeze Cloud administrator, Alex Mitchell, the Director of Academic Technology Support at the University of North Carolina shared, “The addition of Autodesk Fusion 360 to Deep Freeze Software Updater has saved us time and manpower. We no longer have a need to manually update the software.”
Software Updater allows users to automatically download, install and update popular products across Deep Freeze and non Deep Freeze computers. With Deep Freeze integration, Software Updater ensures software is always up-to-date without having to thaw, install and re-freeze computers. The software allows users to setup up a scheduled maintenance cycle, which simplifies the updating of third-party apps on a regular basis. Software Updater is included as part of the Deep Freeze Premium or Ultimate bundles and can install and automatically update 85+ products like Chrome, Flash, Java and more. The cloud-based management console also displays activity logs and update status reports to best manage updates and software patches across an entire organization.
