With the introduction of classroom management tools, we know classroom technology has made life easier for teachers. However, let’s not forget how much easier it’s made life for students.
Here are three ways:
1)Â Â Â Â Â You no longer need to travel to school to contact your peers. Students and teachers are able to communicate through online messaging and group forums so that they can get their questions answered from home, and even arrange study groups.
 2)     Technology allows students to apply learned information to real life situations, and deters them from mindlessly memorizing. Technology helps students grasp information by providing pictures, narratives, and texts that allow students to envision the concept. As well, games and video turn learning into an active, rather than passive activity. The result of these new technology based teaching methods is that students not only retain information better, but they also see how it applies to daily life.
3)Â Â Â Â Â Many universities have provided students with online databases. These databases allow students to research information online quickly, without having to check books out of the library. That leaves more time to study or paper write.
Technology improves the efficiency and productivity of both students and teachers. It removes many obstacles that existed before the Internet, and it will no doubt continue to do so!
