SAN RAMON, CA, July 24, 2006 — Faronics announces the release and immediate availability of the newest version of Deep Freeze that comes with a plug-in for LANDesk. This plug-in allows IT administrators to manage Deep Freeze directly through the LANDesk® Desktop Management Suite Console.
Deep Freeze protects and preserves baseline PC and Mac configurations. Regardless of the changes a user makes to a workstation, a reboot resets the computer to its original state — right down to the last byte. The result is a consistent and trouble-free computing environment with 100% workstation availability. In addition to the LANDesk Plug-in, Deep Freeze 6.0 offers a newly re-designed and re-organized interface, enhanced scheduling capability from within the enterprise console, and new options for managing and importing user defined groups.
