In addition to official support for Windows 10, we are happy to announce the introduction of a new Configuration Generator feature in Deep Freeze Enterprise 8.3. This feature is designed for our larger customers who have multiple consoles and configurations within their organization and they don’t want to run the Configuration Administrator every time they wish to make changes to their Deep Freeze configurations such updating passwords or Workstation Tasks.
Simply navigate to the Tools menu in the Enterprise Console and select the Configuration Generator option. A sample CSV file is provided where each feature has a column dedicated. Specify whether you wish to generate .RDX (configuration file) and/or .EXE (install program) along with the output location and voila! This feature is also available through the Configuration Administrator menu and via command line. Download the latest version from Faronics Labs today.
