Faronics is excited to announce the release of the WINSelect v7.2. WINSelect enables organizations to quickly and easily lockdown Windows applications and operating system settings. The award winning system management software prevents users from changing workstation settings and configurations without any required knowledge of complex Group Policies.
This latest release provides enhanced user session controls. A countdown timer now displays remaining user session time while the printer availability indicator advises users on printer access and remaining pages to print. Users in sessions near expiry are now warned via a pop-up message, enabling them to save their work. Other updates include support for Microsoft Office 2007, allowing administrators to remove program options and menu items from within the Microsoft Office 2007 Interface. Administrators can also now remotely scan and control workstation applications through Core Console.
