Version 5.40 of Deep Freeze Standard, Professional, and Enterprise has been released. New features of Professional and/or Enterprise include support for exempting external hard disks connected via USB and/or IEEE 1394 (FireWire) from Deep Freeze protection on Windows 2000/XP workstations, an option to configure the length of time a user is able to cancel a restart/shutdown schedule, and an option to disable Deep Freeze local policies (debug programs, modify firmware, and change system time).
