Faronics Cloud Sub-Processors

The following sub-processors are engaged by Faronics in connection with the delivery of Faronics Cloud services. This list applies where Faronics acts as a data processor under the Faronics Data Processing Addendum (DPA).

Business & Corporate Operations Sub-Processors

The following sub-processors are used for internal business operations such as sales, marketing, support, finance, and corporate administration. These providers do not process student data or customer production data for Faronics Cloud services.

Processing Chain

Faronics discloses its first-tier sub-processors in this list. Certain sub-processors (such as cloud infrastructure providers) may engage additional sub-processors as part of their services. Faronics retains oversight of its sub-processors and is prepared to provide further information regarding downstream sub-processors and the processing chain upon reasonable written request by a data controller, in accordance with GDPR Article 28 and applicable supervisory authority guidance.

Transfer Impact Assessments

Transfer Impact Assessments (TIAs) are not conducted as a default practice. Where required by a customer or supervisory authority, Faronics will cooperate to provide relevant information to support a customer-led assessment.

Sub-Processor Master Data

Faronics maintains for each sub-processor its legal entity name, registered address, registration number (where applicable), and relevant contact information. This information will be provided to data controllers upon reasonable written request.

Audit and Assurance

Faronics’ technical and organizational measures are independently assessed through its ISAE 3000 assurance engagement. Sub-processor oversight is governed by Faronics’ Sub-Processor Appointment and Management Policy.
