Managing Policies

Policies are an important component of Deep Freeze Cloud. When the Cloud Agents are installed on your computers, they are associated with policies. Each computer has a policy. You can either assign the same policy to multiple computers or have individual policies.

Create a New Policy

To create a new Policy, follow the below steps:

• Click on the Add Policy button on the Policies page.
• Select Add New Windows Policy or Add New Mac Policy from the dropdown
• Enable the products which you would like to install on the computers associated with this policy.
• Define a name for the policy.
• Schedule the Maintenance Period (only available for Windows computers) if you wish to disable services to perform software updates.
• Save the policy.
