Installing Apps on a Android device consist of the following stages:
 
Adding Apps from the Google Play Store
The first stage is to add Apps from the Google Store to the Deep Freeze MDM. Complete the following steps:
1.
Go to MDM > Apps.
2.
Click the Android icon.
3.
Click Add Apps.
4.

6.
Click Approve.
7.
Click Approve again.
8.
Keep approved when app requests new permissions - Users will be able to install the updated app.
Revoke app approval when this app requests new permissions - App will be removed from the store until it is reapproved.
9.
Click Save.
 
The selected apps are now added to Deep Freeze MDM.
 
Creating a Group and Selecting Apps
The second stage is to create a group and selecting the apps that will be installed on the mobile devices belonging to this group. Complete the following steps:
1.
Go to MDM > Groups.
2.
Click the Android icon.
3.
Click Add Group.
4.

6.
Click Save.
A group is now created and the selected apps will now be installed to mobile devices that are assigned to this group.
 
Assigning Mobile Devices to a Group
The third stage is to assign mobile devices to the newly created group that contains the selected apps. Complete the following steps:
1.
Go to MDM > Devices.
2.
Click the Android icon.
3.
Click Move To Group and select the [Group Name].
 
The mobile devices are now added to the group. When the mobile devices check-in, the apps assigned to the group are installed on the device.
