Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Account Manager will be responsible for managing an assigned territory and achieving specified target sales, while complying with Faronics’ Corporate commercial guidelines. The Account Manager will be expected to develop new relationships and maintain relationships with Top Accounts with the view to fulfilling their existing and future requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
« Achieve required selling targets
« Plan and prioritize personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales – especially managing personal time and productivity.
« Plan and manage personal business portfolio/territory/business according to an agreed Sales strategy.
« Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
« Use customer and prospect contact activities tools and systems, and update relevant information held in these systems.
« Integrate personal sales efforts with other organized marketing activities, e.g. product launches, promotions, advertising, and tradeshows.
« Respond to and follow up on sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
« Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
« Record, analyze, report and administer according to established sales processes and procedures.
« Provide a monthly activity report to your Sales Manager outlining activities
« Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
« Become conversant and knowledgeable on all existing and forthcoming product specifications, features, functions, benefits and unique selling points
« Be able to personally demonstrate product
« Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development.
« Comply with company policy and procedures
« Provide management with information on competitor activity within your assigned territory
REQUIREMENTS:
« Skills & 3-5 years experience in sales
« Computer skills
« Well developed communication skills
« Superior personal presentation
« Ability to conduct presentations to customers
« Presentation skills
« Negotiations and closing skills
« Strong Interpersonal skills
« Understanding of the selling process
« Understanding of selling prices and gross margins
