Faronics’ Deep Freeze Selected as Finalist for the 2010 CODiE Awards

The Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) has announced that Faronics Deep Freeze has been selected as a finalist for the prestigious CODiE Awards in the Best Security Solution category. All products that qualified as finalists will now be reviewed by members of SIIA, who will vote to select the winner for this category, as well as 55 other categories. The winners will be announced in May.

Deep Freeze delivers enterprise-wide protection against accidental or malicious damage without restricting user access. It ensures computing environments are easier to manage, expensive computer assets are kept running at 100% capacity, and workstations enjoy full immunity from software misconfigurations, and malware. As part of a layered security approach, Deep Freeze provides the ultimate layer of protection along with the application whitelisting technology of Faronics Anti-Executable, and Faronics Anti-Virus, scheduled for release in May 2010.
